The International Art Development and Promotion Association (IADPA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts organization dedicated to supporting, promoting, and advancing the arts.
Based in Washington, D.C., IADPA develops programs that expand access to the arts, strengthen arts education and cultural exchange, and encourage collaboration across artistic disciplines. Through performances, competitions, educational initiatives, and partnerships, IADPA works to deepen the role of the arts in cultural life and bring meaningful artistic experiences to wider communities. This website, iadpaarts.org, is the official website and primary domain owned and operated by the International Art Development and Promotion Association (IADPA).

WASHINGTON INTERNATIONAL YOUNG ARTISTS MUSIC SERIES (WIYAMS)
A Signature Program of IADPA
The Washington International Young Artists Music Series (WIYAMS) is a signature nonprofit program conceived, organized, and presented by IADPA. Rooted in Washington, D.C., WIYAMS believes in the promise of young musicians and the importance of supporting them at defining moments in their artistic journeys.
Each year, a distinguished group of musicians is selected through a rigorous professional evaluation process and recognized as WIYAMS ARTISTS or WIYAMS YOUNG ARTISTS. These honors celebrate not only their artistic excellence, but also their unique voices and potential to shape the future of music.
WIYAMS offers selected artists opportunities to perform at distinguished cultural venues, connect with diverse audiences, and receive professional resources including promotional design, photography and videography, and high-quality concert recordings.
More than a title, WIYAMS is a community that celebrates young artists, shares their voices, and supports them as they take meaningful steps toward their future.
POTOMAC INTERNATIONAL PIANO COMPETITION （PIC）
An International Competition Presented by IADPA
The Potomac International Piano Competition is an international competition conceived, organized, and presented by IADPA. It brings together talented young pianists, distinguished music professionals, and audiences through a shared commitment to artistic excellence and the future of piano performance.
The competition was established to honor and carry forward the traditions of piano artistry while opening new paths for the next generation of musicians. Through a rigorous and professionally guided selection process, Potomac provides young pianists with opportunities to perform, receive recognition, exchange ideas, and further develop their individual artistic voices.
At its heart, Potomac is about more than awards and rankings. It is a place where young musicians can share their artistry, learn from one another, and take meaningful steps forward in their musical journeys. By welcoming new voices and fresh perspectives, the competition celebrates the traditions of piano music while helping them continue to grow, evolve, and inspire future generations.
